Dreams Come True

It’s funny, this thing called life. So many of us try to plan, project, and toil. Each trying to make our way, find a passion, prove ourselves. All the while time continues to flow into space like the rivers flowing into the sea. Then the unexpected happens. Life happens. Life is unpredictable, magical and beautiful. One day you can be sitting at your desk in a high rise office building in a big city with the smog billowing up outside, the click clack of keyboards around you and chitter chatter of your coworkers numbing you into a trance. Tick tock the years go by.

Wake Up! There is a world of beauty, of magic and wonder out there and it’s not waiting for us. We need to grab our masks and fins and jump in.

Can you close your eyes for just a moment? It’s ok, no one is looking and besides, it’s not good to glare at the monitor all day long anyway. You feel a slight cool breeze starting to blow, it’s refreshing because the sun is shining down from a beautiful deep blue sky. You feel the warmth of the rays kissing your skin and the thoughts of your day giving you goosebumps.

That’s right, after your morning yoga practice overlooking the never ending sparking sea, you are going to meet up with your friends (more like family now), grab your gear and head out to sea. Your day is just getting started. Every moment, every task is an adventure. You are about to enter a new world, not your world but one that welcomes you as a guest. One that let’s you learn from it and be amazed by it as long as you live in harmony with it. If you follow these simple rules, it will open it’s doors to you and show you the magic that lies beneath it’s glimmering waters. Bubbles go up as you go down into a world of bright vivid colors hard to imagine. Creatures of every shape and size darting about or slowing floating along. They acknowledge you as you nod back at them, in peaceful union. Down here the world is in perfect balance and everything has it’s place in the circle of life, from the smallest sea slug to the largest whale sharks they are each beautiful, vibrant and powerful in their own way. Before you know it, it’s time to return to your world, the land above with air and wind it’s own wonders. However, don’t be sad to leave because you are welcome back to this colorful, majestic land beneath the sea anytime you want and it’s happy to have you visit again.

You can open your eyes now and even though you’re back in your office, you hear the clitter clatter again and work is still sitting next to you, now you know what is waiting for you in Bali in the world under the sea. Now you know you have the power to make your dreams come true and visit this magical place and I hope I am there to guide you.
