Hi I’m Liam Hughes and I can think of nothing better than becoming a PADI instructor!
The sea is my life! Whether working, trying a new sport or just floating around I’m addicted to the sea! I’ve got HND in water sports and adventure activities management and spent time working in numerous countries teaching different kinds of water sports, however after working in Ibiza as a dive master I really can’t think of a better career than teaching scuba diving! Different challenges every day, having an amazing “office”, having the opportunity to travel the world to some of the most amazing dive locations, working with new and exciting people and the rush of helping new divers overcome their obstacles and having a chance to be a part of it.

When working in Ibiza my favourite part of my job was having the opportunity to assist on courses and helping new divers learn new skills, (personal favourite being the stress test! Love the challenge!)Being there and finding ways to make it easier and more understandable for new divers and the joy and gratitude they convey when they master a new skill thanks to your help, to me no other job offers that kind of satisfaction and that’s what I want from my career!

Training in Bali would be the opportunity of a life time as nothing makes me happier travelling, meeting people new challenges! So I think I’d be perfect for this position as I love the work, the way I see it you try complaining about twelve hour work days but when you’re working as a diver… you really haven’t got anything to complain about!
