Hey there my name is Nadia Aly. I am the owner & creator of ScubaDiverLife.com & Community.ScubaDiverLife.com. These are two websites – The first being ScubaDiverLife.com that is the main blog, where I have daily blog posts and then share them through social channels. It’s going so well that some posts have almost 200 shares on them! The second is Community.ScubaDiverLife.com – where anyone can join easily, upload photos, videos, take part in discussion, blog, chat and much much more. I built these websites on my own with the skills I have acquired over my lifetime.
This passion sprung from a trip to Fiji in November of 2010. Diving in Fiji unleashed an obsession for the sport. It grew even more when I randomly through myself on a plane to Kona, Hawaii. Where I did the famous Manta Ray night dive. That dive was the most amazing thing I have ever done in my life. If I could have cried underwater I would have, it was beyond beautiful.
I first started scuba diving in my early teens and have been very busy since. I completed my Undergraduate degree in Fine Arts and then a Masters of Digital Media. With that said now I am working at one of the worlds largest companies as a social media manager, in one of the rainiest places in the States… Seattle. I only get 15 days vacation a year and don’t have much time to go scuba diving. I am nowhere near being a Scuba Diving Master and would just be thrilled to have the opportunity to do so.
I run my scuba communities throughout the day and have grown them to almost ten thousand members in less than two months. I am a queen when it comes to generating content, and I would be super stoked to be able to create much more content for my scuba sites and for Blue Seasons Bali. I have many skills when it comes to the digital realm. I can blog, make videos and edit them, Photoshop, graphics design, web design & execution, community building and growth and on top of that I am a social media queen.
Already having quite a large portfolio my skills are defiantly noticeable. I want to go to Bali to learn everything I can possibly can about scuba diving. So I have good knowledge to share with my communities and other divers around the world. I have these amazing scuba diving websites and have nowhere near the water time that most of my members have. Not to say that I don’t know anything about scuba diving, I do … I just don’t have the experience that many others have. I am a high energy, easygoing character that is extremely friendly, passionate, loving and much more.
Being in Bali would give me the opportunity to showcase what the Scuba Diver Life really is all about, being able to create and share stories with the divers of the world.
